Vino To-Go

Hola!  I hope your first day back to work after the long weekend went well!

Greg and I went out on a little date last night since we won't be seeing each other for a few days.  We started the evening at the Japanese place across the street from our apartment, Yakitori.  They have an awesome happy hour, including two-for-one drinks and appetizers.

We ordered two glasses of chardonnay and a few starters (apparently I'm trying to be a food-blogger these days ;))

Shrimp tempura with spicy mayo
Gyoza
Mexican roll
Beef w/ scallion & scallop yakitori
All of the food was incredible, but my faves were the gyoza and beef w/ scallion.

There was a little confusion at the beginning when we ordered our drinks (two-for-one, not 1/2 price), therefore we ended up taking home two glasses worth of wine in a to-go cup :)

We quickly dropped by the apt to put the vino in the fridge and give Maya a quick kiss, then walked over to iPic.

Tuesday is the day to go to iPic!  The tickets are discounted, you can get $2 beers and some of the menu items are discounted too.  We were feeling fancy, so we bought two of the premium seats - best decision ever!

We had some time to spare before we could enter the theater so we ordered two beers from the upstairs bar and sat and chatted in the lounge area.

Thirty minutes before the movie starts, you can head to your seats so that's exactly what we did so we could enjoy the comfy seats just a little longer.  Not only do you get reclining seats and a server, but also a pillow and blanket.  I was in heaven.

We ordered a beer and truffle fries after we settled in and during the movie munched on popcorn (included in ticket price).
The menu- fancy schmance, no?
We watched Men in Black and it was actually pretty entertaining.  I don't remember a thing about the other two so I can't compare but I laughed a good bit and anything with Will Smith I'll give two thumbs up.

The movie ended at 10:30 and by the time we walked home it was approaching 11pm.  Greg and I both agreed that that was the latest we've stayed out during our time here in Boca haha.  We were both exhausted and face planted into bed when we got home.

After all of that indulgent food, I'm ready to eat nice and clean the rest of the week!  It was worth it though and lots of fun.

Well, I'm off to do a few things before work this afternoon.  We're crossfitting tonight, can't wait!

Have a great hump day!
