Below is the wrap-up of our ski trip. Here are the other two posts if you missed them :)
After our last run of the day, Greg and I met his dad at a cute cafe for a glass of wine before heading to the condo. We showered up quickly then walked over to the lobby where there was live music, free wine/beer and apps.
It was quite the party!
Having a little fun in the snow |
After some munchies and vino, we hopped on the shuttle to go downtown. It was picture perfect downtown with the snow falling, lights in the trees and the cute shops lining the street.
Abe & Ben just chillin |
Caught this beauty of Greg on our way home |
A teeny town we went through, Walden CO |
New Belgium is one of our fave breweries so we went to check it out. All of the tours were booked up so we tried a few tasters of beers and walked around a bit.
My first taster - Mothership Wit, an organic wheat beer |
2nd taster - Dig Pale Ale, a spring ale |
From New Belgium we went to Old Town Fort Collins for lunch at the Fort Collins Brewery restaurant, Gravity. It had a really cute and quirky vibe with tasty food.
We shared a flight of their beers - Haus brew (cream ale), 1900 Amber Lager, a smoked lager, and Chocolate Stout.
I could so see us living in Fort Collins. I loved the local vibe and the people were all so friendly. I hated to leave so soon but it was time for us to get to the airport! The drive was about an hour and I may or may not have snoozed a bit on the way ;)
Our flight was a little delayed leaving Denver but we landed in Fort Lauderdale on time. Oh how I miss Colorado already! I absolutely loved Steamboat Springs and I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good ski vacation destination.
