London Day 7 - Guards, Parks, & More Shopping

Well, this post will sum up our London trip!  London is definitely in the top 2 of my favorite cities of all time.  It's beautiful, historic, and entertaining.  Speaking the same language made it very comfortable also.

We began our last day with a viewing of the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace.  There were a bajillion other people trying to watch as we were, so I don't have many pictures.

The whole procession ended up lasting over 30 minutes - it was quite a show!

We then walked through St James' Park

Every animal in the park was obese from all of the food people give them!

Diddy long-armed this one.. love it

From St James' Park, we walked through Green Park

Then through Hyde Park, which is huuuuuge!

This little fella came to check us out for a bit

Kensington Palace, where William and Kate will soon reside
Once again, the fellas went back to the hotel early so the ladies went shopping!  We found some cute belts and scarves at a really cute boutique.

And boo boo bought herself an adorable purple swatch

We finished the night in the hotel wedding planning :)  and eating pre-made sandwiches and drinking some vino from a grocery store closeby.

Our flight was at 11:15 on Saturday so we took the tube to the airport and headed home!

It was a fiasco once we arrived in DC... our flight landed 45 min late and customs/baggage claim took FOREVER so we missed our flight to the boro.  We had to rent a car and finally arrived home around 12:30 am.  I flew out 12 hours later back to Boca and this is what I first saw when I got to baggage claim...
Ah!
I miss Greensboro and London already, but it's nice to be back in Boca with Grego and Maya.  The wedding planning has begun and we have a few things actually nailed down already, yay!

Hope everyone's had a great weekend!
