Weekend Recap

This weekend was full of friend-time, food, alcohol, Miami and hockey.

One of my best friends, Elsa, is relocating to Miami to work for City Year for the next six months.  I'm so excited about having her less than an hour away!  She and one of our college friends, Sarah, got into town on Friday and this weekend we unpacked her stuff and had a little fun out and about.

We enjoyed a mojito and a few yummy Cuban dishes at Versailles.

Unfortunately, we didn't get a single picture from this point on into the night, but it was quite an interesting one.

This afternoon while Elsa and Sarah slept off their hangovers, Grego and I went to the Hurricanes vs. Panthers hockey game!  Since the Canes are terrible this year, we got amazing seats for super cheap!

While the Canes were warming up, Spacek threw Grego a puck!  I swear he was like a little kid and sooo giddy.

We ended up losing in overtime, but it was a really fun and exciting game!  Can't wait to go to the next Canes vs. Panthers game.
